Guest lecture at NYU on the ambiguity of betrayal in resistance

On 27 April 2023, I gave a guest talk at New York University, hosted by the wonderful Tal Correm and the NYU Liberal Studies. The talk was on the topic of The Ambiguity of Betrayal: Contesting Myths of Heroic Resistance in South Africa, and was followed by an engaging discussion with the students and faculty. I’m grateful to everyone for their thoughtful questions and comments!
